I am obsessed with cabinetry hardware. They are like little jewels or cufflinks that add such character to a furniture piece. Restoration Hardware’s styles rarely change which shows just how enduring and universal they are.

We chose the above two styles because the exposed screw pulls and round knobs give a great antique feel to the kitchen cabinetry. They are in polished chrome to match our chrome faucets and polished nickel pendants (in hindsight, we probably could have mixed metals but it wasn’t much of a thing in 2008). The antique bronze hardware for the ensuite vanity gives a tone-on-tone or barely-there look, and makes it feel like a handsome piece of furniture. The square shaped hardware echoes the overall squareness of the drawer panels. Picking cabinetry hardware is one of my favourite things to do as it’s the little details that make a lot of impact.
